The Nuclear Club: A Pass for India
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette wonders how India’s nuclear program can receive preferential treatment in Washington when those of Iran and North Korea are leading us to the brink of serious confrontation: “With the Bush administration’s strong positions against the nuclear programs of North Korea and Iran, giving India a bye on long-range missile testing, even while the administration is trying to pass legislation favorable to its nuclear activities, is an astonishing, if not shocking, tribute to the power of the campaign dollar.”
